In fact, I first started my business, Engineering Expectations, because I wanted to help students avoid the struggle I went through. In high school, I was told by a guidance counselor I would never make it as an engineer and I should go into social services instead. I doubted I was smart enough and "handy" enough. Honestly, I really did not understand what engineers even did.
Ultimately, I took a chance and attended Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, MA for mechanical engineering and a concentration in biomechanics. Through hard work and perseverance, I graduated with honors, obtained three internships, and a high-paying job offer from a globally recognized medical device company, Boston Scientific, which was my absolute dream job helping people!
I excelled in the workforce, earning a six-figure salary in just three years. After years of experience, I can confidently say I know what it takes to be an engineer. Therefore, I created this product to give aspiring engineers the tools and confidence they need to succeed.
